Tsutakawa Sculpture

This sculpture was made during a Master Artist class with Seattle sculptor Gerry Tsutakawa. It incorporates Tsutakawa’s techniques for shaping sheet bronze and welding sections together to build up forms. The top element is hot cast glass and the patina is sulphurated potash, ferric nitrate and silver nitrate.
