Pair of Small Boxes

These classic dovetailed boxes were built as a way to show off 2 small but  extraordinary pieces of wood that were resawn and bookmatched for the lid panels. One is kwila with a spalted maple top and the other is narra with a top from a board of figured narra pulled from the mud of a river in the Mekong Delta.
