Ceramic Plates
Ceramic materials never look the same after firing as they do before. Learning to see your materials for what they will become is essential to working in a painterly way with clay. A habit of making plates evolved from the need to master this skill. These plates are all done quickly by draping slabs into concave molds and working freely from a broad palette of tools and chemicals.
12” to 24” Diameter.
